Habitat & Vegetation

Research

All research questions pertaining to habitat classifications, detailing & botanical matters are included on this page (e.g. Phase 1 habitat & Phase 2 vegetation surveys). Each topic is explained and includes a status bar, research dates, PDF download (where applicable) & website button/s link (where applicable). The majority of research is ongoing and will take multiple years to complete. If you are an ecologist, postgraduate/graduate student or have an deep interest in Capo Testa & would like to assist in survey work please feel free to get in Contact & chose area/s of preference. The research codes (e.g. A1) relate to the Research Project Questions section at the bottom of the About page.

*Notes:  Further survey works required for Grasses & Orchids. The Botanical Inventory is in the process of being completed but due to graphical representation techniques is taking longer than previously thought. Thank you for your patience.

A3: Identification & subsequent qualitative/quantitative monitoring of Invasive & Non-native plant species in relation to populations of Endemic & Endangered species & habitats in Capo Testa. (INVASIVE/NON-NATIVE & ENDEMIC/ENDANGERED PLANT POPULATIONS/COMMUNITIES).
